Alaythea Hamlyn

Alaythea (BSc with honours in Chemistry), worked for the Medical Research Council, taught Food Science at Stellenbosch University, and, and has worked as a Hazardous Substance Management consultant for a number of years.

In 2001, she started up her own speciality chemical synthesis company Cubor Industries, while teaching environmental management part-time at Pretoria Technikon.  Alaythea has also been working in publishing since 2003.

Alaythea moved to Cape Town in 2012 to start working with a film production company and was busy with that project when she fell ill with ME in July 2013. She has done her own extensive research on the causes, effects and treatment of ME, and is in the process of recovering.  (Company Website)
