Braam Botha was previously admitted as an advocate, practiced as an attorney for 30 years and is currently busy completing the final year of his doctorate (LLD/Phd) studies at the North West University. His international research focuses on the effect of electromagnetic radiation on people and precautionary legal and human rights instruments and measures that have been implemented by various countries around the world to prevent or mitigate its adverse health effects. He was involved in many legal cases and administrative processes to prevent the erection of cell phone towers in close vicinity to residential areas and schools.
