The Neglected Generation

The Neglected Generation

Save our children!

The negligence of real-life interactions with actual people in the real world versus virtual engagements in the digital environment is causing an epidemic of underdeveloped, unhappy, and unhealthy children.

Is your child misdiagnosed? Who should you trust when professionals and the internet provide conflicting answers? What can I change in my child’s environment before accepting the diagnosis of a neurological or learning disorder, which seems to leave no option other than resorting to prescribed medications like Ritalin and Concerta?

Did you know there are non-prescriptive medication options to reset your child’s mind, body, and life by simply limiting screen time and replacing it with natural outdoor activities?

Will you pause, listen, and reassess the quality and duration of real-life interactions with your child and surroundings?

Now is the time to tackle the root causes of the global epidemic affecting children diagnosed with neurological and learning disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), obesity, diabetes, impaired eyesight, delayed speech and language development, a lack of social skills, sleep disorders, and various social behavioural challenges.

Why are there so many young children diagnosed with neurological or learning disorders? Why must they regularly visit therapists to address gaps in their developmental milestones and misbehaviours before or during early school ages?

What has changed during the last fifteen years?

Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone in June 2007. By 2013, Apple and Google Play had developed 1 million apps. This surge of advertising-driven apps transformed smartphone usage. Smartphones have evolved into platforms where companies compete for users’ attention for extended periods. These devices changed how people engage with one another and their surroundings.

It is easy for parents to hand smartphones to babies, toddlers, and children for entertainment or to serve as babysitters. Unfortunately, this underscores a silent tragedy unfolding right before our eyes, exposing a lack of critical thinking regarding the harmful consequences for our children’s development.

Are you awake and bold enough to stand and take action together to

change the tide now?

Sometimes, parents overlook a problem while a teacher is worried. At other times, the child may excel in school but distancing themselves from friends. A child who once had no issues might begin to struggle, experience meltdowns, and face difficulties in school.

These scenarios can confuse and overwhelm a parent. You might wonder whether you need professional help and which professional to consult. Some parents avoid taking action because they fear the answers they may receive. This reaction is normal and understandable.

At the TechnoLife Wise Foundation, we are passionate about empowering parents, educators, and role models to support children’s development in a healthy and balanced way. Our Happy Neuro Heroes course is vital for living joyful lives filled with peace and gratitude.

Your and your children’s holistic health and well-being are critical in today’s fast-paced, digital world. Your child(ren) is your most significant gift from God. It comes with great joy and huge responsibilities, especially in this digital world filled with too many choices, technology, and digital screens.

Do you want to avoid pain and uncertainty regarding your child’s learning and developmental stages?

Suppose your child spends too much time on the screen. In that case, it may indicate that your child has fallen prey to Electronic Screen Syndrome (ESS), which can sow seeds for issues like ADD, ADHD, secondary autism, or virtual autism triggered by electronic screens.

Children and adolescents possess the least willpower, are the most susceptible to manipulation, and have significantly underdeveloped frontal cortices. Separating babies, toddlers, and children of all ages from screens has become one of the most significant challenges for parents today. It is best to implement strict boundaries from birth, knowing that digital screen exposure induces multiple toxic pathways in their brains and bodies. The brain is more sensitive to toxins than any other organ, and the eyes and ears connect the brain and nervous system to the outside world.

Impact on eyes: Video games may trigger seizures in certain children.

Impact on brain development and the frontal lobe: There is evidence that playing video games, using cell phones, and texting negatively affect the development of the brain’s frontal lobe.

Impact on the body: Working on screens often shifts the nervous system into fight-or-flight mode, leading to dysregulation and inefficiency of various biological systems. Since the brain perceives itself as in a fight-or-flight state, the body releases stress hormones even when engaging in educational electronic games.

Self-regulation and dysregulation: Interaction with electronics and digital screens induces nervous system irritability. Various mechanisms, such as unnatural electromagnetic fields and radiation, result in hyperarousal and mood changes.

Let us stand and act together for the sake of our precious children. Let us join other countries like Australia, the Netherlands and Denmark to stop providing digital drugs – smartphones with internet access, video games and social media to our underaged children.

Register now for the Happy Neuro Heroes course, which empowers you and uses a gentle approach to your child’s health and well-being!
