Jannie T. Ferreira obtained a B Sc Hons (Cum Laude), M Sc (cum laude) and Ph D in Physiology and a Teacher’s Diploma before obtaining his B Optom (cum laude).
He retired from UJ in 2013 and during his career he:
- authored or co-authored of 147 scientific papers
- provided supervision to 18 Ph. D and 42 Masters’ students.
- Attended and presented on 40 International and 111 National conferences
He remains in private practice pursuing his research interest: children with learning and reading problems.
